FROM ANNA 👋
The new series is here. Here is the real story of how Tilly and WebCraft came to be.
I have been sitting on this story for a while — not because I was not ready to tell it, but because I wanted to tell it right. This week I finally did. The Behind the Bot series is officially live on YouTube, and Episode 1 is the origin story I wish someone had shared with me before I started all of this. It is honest, it is a little messy, and it is completely real. I hope it lands for you the way it felt to make it.
WebCraft Tech Insights
Helping everyday people and small businesses navigate technology, AI, and the digital world with confidence.
THIS WEEK'S EPISODE 🎬
Behind the Bot — Episode 1: It Was Not a Straight Line
This episode is the origin story of WebCraft Tech Insights and Tilly's AI Tidbits — starting with an unexpected job loss in August 2024 and ending with a cartoon robot rolling through a giant AI warehouse. It covers the early tool exploration, the emotional arc of building something new while navigating a difficult year, and the moment the Tilly concept clicked into place through AI collaboration. If you have ever wondered what it actually looks like to build a content business from scratch, this is where it starts.

THE QUICK TAKEAWAY 💡
One thing you can use this week
If you are building anything — a channel, a newsletter, a side project — you do not have to have it all figured out before you start. The most valuable thing I did early on was simply start exploring, even when I did not know where it was going. Pick one tool, one platform, or one idea this week and spend thirty minutes just poking around in it with no pressure to produce anything.
The Future of Tech. One Daily News Briefing.
AI is moving faster than any other technology cycle in history. New models. New tools. New claims. New noise.
Most people feel like they’re behind. But the people that don’t, aren’t smarter. They’re just better informed.
Forward Future is a daily news briefing for people who want clarity, not hype. In one concise newsletter each day, you’ll get the most important AI and tech developments, learn why they matter, and what they signal about what’s coming next.
We cover real product launches, model updates, policy shifts, and industry moves shaping how AI actually gets built, adopted, and regulated. Written for operators, builders, leaders, and anyone who wants to sound sharp when AI comes up in the meeting.
It takes about five minutes to read, but the edge lasts all day.

▶ Claude: My daily thinking partner for everything from scripting and content strategy to brainstorming and business planning. If something needs to be written, organized, or figured out, Claude is my first stop. It is less like a tool and more like having a business partner available at 2am.
▶ Canva: Every thumbnail, graphic, social post, and brand asset you see comes out of Canva. It keeps everything looking consistent without requiring a graphic design background, and the templates make it fast even on busy days.
▶ YouTube Studio: The behind-the-scenes dashboard for both channels. Analytics, captions, scheduling, and channel management all live here. If you are putting any content on YouTube, learning your way around Studio is non-negotiable.
BEHIND THE SCENES 👀
What is coming next
Episode 2 of Behind the Bot is already written and heading into production — and this one gets into the back office reality that nobody talks about before you start creating. We are covering the setup work that happens before a single piece of content goes live — URLs, email aliases, brand guides, asset sizing headaches, website decisions, and the newsletter template puzzle. Spoiler: my files got chaotic. Like really chaotic. And I am going to own that fully on camera.
